Dr. Alexander Strawn is a Phoenix-based trumpet performer, educator, and arts leader whose career spans orchestral, chamber, jazz, and ceremonial performance. He serves as Principal Trumpet of the 108th “Arizona’s Own” Army Band and performs with the Arizona Pops Orchestra. An award-winning musician and advocate for music education, Dr. Strawn is dedicated to fostering artistic excellence through performance, teaching, and community engagement while helping shape the next generation of musicians across Arizona.
